Birthright Israel

UJA-JCC Greenwich provides assistance to adults who are interested in visiting Israel. We have current information on a volunteer mission to Israel taking place this summer from June 30-July 9.

We will supply adults with the information needed to take the first steps toward registering for this trip.

UJA-JCC Greenwich and Birthright Israel Partner
If you’ve been wanting to volunteer in Israel—you’re in luck. UJA-JCC Greenwich and Taglit-Birthright Israel have partnered to boost Jewish volunteerism supporting Israel’s recovery and rebuilding efforts while also responding to the resurgence of Jewish pride, identity and solidarity that has emerged since October 7.

The 8-day program is available for a highly subsidized cost. It builds on both organizations’ successful track records in organizing impactful volunteer programs in the rebuilding of Israel.

With tens of thousands of Israelis still serving in the reserves and a sharp decline in foreign workers, volunteer support is more essential than ever. Since October 7, volunteers have stepped in to fill critical gaps, bolstering Israel’s economy, supporting food security, and lending hands where they’re most needed. Along the way, many say they’ve formed a deeper, more personal bond with Israel and the global Jewish community. For countless participants, the experience has been nothing short of transformative.
