UJA-JCC Greenwich is Your Center for Jewish Community, Culture & Caring
We work to enrich the educational, cultural and social life of Greenwich while connecting all of us through exceptional programs and worldwide Jewish philanthropy.
Infused with the spirit of the 21st-century neighborhood, we invite the entire community to participate in shared experiences at an array of venues here in Greenwich. UJA-JCC Greenwich strives to build and grow community from PJ Library Parties in the Park to Comedy Night to raising the Israeli Flag together at town hall on Yom Ha'atzmaut- Israel Independence Day.
UJA-JCC Greenwich nurtures creativity and Jewish identity through programming that offers something for everyone while celebrating Jewish values. We partner with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation to offer the PJ Library program to every Jewish child living in Greenwich between the ages of 6 months and 11 years old and help UConn Hillel provide a Jewish connection for over 150 students each week on Shabbat. UJA-JCC Greenwich has helped to send hundreds of Jewish young adults to connect with Israel through Birthright Israel.
Other local cultural programming includes:
Current Event Series
Private Art Tours
Israel and Holiday Community Celebrations
For thousands of years, the Jewish people have had a tradition of taking care of those in need. That tradition continues through the work of UJA-JCC Greenwich. Every day, here in Greenwich and throughout the world, the work of UJA-JCC Greenwich is felt by thousands of people.
UJA-JCC Greenwich supports students through scholarships at local schools such as Bi-Cultural Day School, Carmel Academy, Jewish High School of CT, Solomon Schechter Westchester, provides counseling, senior services and assistance through Jewish Family Services and MetCouncil on Jewish Poverty. Community service projects for all ages provide hands on opportunities to give back to those in need locally.
In more than 60 countries around the world, the UJA-JCC Greenwich provides life-saving and life-affirming support to Jewish communities and individuals.
JAFI and JDC, on your behalf, ensure that no Jew is left behind no matter where in the world he or she may live. These agencies rescue and resettle Jews in need and ensure their absorption and education.
Over the decades, millions of immigrants have been brought to Israel from the Former Soviet Union and from Ethiopia. The success of UJA-JCC Greenwich reflects the devotion of the many volunteers who help us accomplish these goals together, in a way that none of us would be able to do on our own.
