Our Israel Emergency Fund is part of the overall collective mobilization to help Israel by Jewish Federations of North America. To date, the total amount raised nationally is $630 million, and counting. The largest allocations will go to The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and The Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Magen David Adom and the Israel Trauma Coalition, along with other agencies who desperately need our support.
Your donations have already been put to exceptional use. Here are just a few ways our collective gifts are being used:
- $17,000,000 for immediate cash grants to families and individuals impacted by acts of terror and violence.
- 22 tons of medical supplies and humanitarian aid delivered for emergency care.
- 280,000 hot meals sent to individuals at risk.
- $5750,000 for trauma and psycho-social support with direct care to first responders, lone soldiers, the injured, families of those murdered by Hamas, and families of the injured and abducted.
- 110,000 volunteers mobilized.
