Joseph’s Bones and the Jewish Tradition of Memory

Reb. Simcha Raphael, PhD

October 28

At the end of the Book of Genesis, we read of Joseph’s request to have his “bones” returned to the Land of Canaan. Explore the enduring power of the Jewish tradition of memory—and how a sense of connection between the world of the living and the world of the dead has been part of the Jewish experience throughout the ages.

Lunch & Learn is a weekly program, every Thursday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. The Lunch & Learn program is generously sponsored by Rita Edelston.
