March 16-26, 2020

Visit historic Jewish landmarks and the communities in Hakone, Kobe, Kyoto, Matsumoto and Tokyo. Enjoy a concert with the famous Beit Sholom Choir. Take the Bullet Train to the Chiune Sugihara Memorial Hall, nestled in the “Japanese Alps,” built to honor the Japanese official who risked everything to save thousands
of European Jews during WWII.

Tour Japan’s castles, shrines, gardens and world class UNESCO Heritage sites like the Golden and Silver Pavilions, Meiji Shrine and Matsumoto Castle. Venture into the Bamboo Forest, marvel at Mt. Fuji. Museums, shopping, dining, entertainment. From the bustle of Tokyo to the hot springs of Hakone, discover Japan through a Jewish lens.
